I appreciate you guy SO incredibly much for your help, even if it's just to say that it's impossible and I should stop trying (although that sure does sound depressing). I mostly like to work with my legacy sims and take pictures of their life events, so one can see how black grass might not be overly photogenic. Also, when in a lot, the terrain with spontaneously switch from being completely normal to taking on the appearance of other game content (ex: tvs, tree thumbnails, hair templates.) I have patched all EPs, changed graphic settings, and even tried running the game without custom content, but the issue persists. Grass is blocky or nonexistant, water is flat, etc. The problems seem to lie in the terrain in both neighborhood view and in the lots. But I have run into few graphic glitches. I was able to install the sims2 (in addition to glamour life, family fun, open for business, nightlife, university, pets, and seasons) just fine-and yes, I installed in te right order-and the game itself is playable. This was backed up by this site: which supplies a list of games that can be run by the integrated chips. I was told that although it has an integrated graphics chip, it should run the sims 2 just fine.
